Wilma Renfordt

Wilma studied theater theory, history of art and comparative literature at FU Berlin, finishing her studies in 2007 with a thesis on the esthetic and political potential of theater in public spaces. Since then, she has been working als dramaturge, curator and researcher in different projects in the field of the performing and fine arts, currently, among others, in the theater collective copy & waste focusing on the investigation of city-scapes in Berlin and elsewhere (e.g.: Die Versteigerung von No. 36, WestGermany, Berlin 2009; X Wohnungen Neukölln: Gropiopolis, Hebbel am Ufer, Berlin 2008), for the exhibition “Klimakapseln” at Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg, and for the work group „Art as research?“ of Junge Akademie.
